How It's Made

Toothbrush
We brush our teeth with them everyday, but how many of us actually know how a toothbrush is made? I, for one, had no idea and decided to look into it. I discovered a video on www.youtube.com describing the manufacturing process of the toothbrush and after watching this video, I'm surprised at how elaborate a process producing a toothbrush actually is!

Floss
Who would have guessed that floss is actually made from melted plastic beads? The plastic is continuously stretched so as to make for stronger molecular bonds and therefore unbreakable floss. I wonder if Hayes County Jail prison inmates knew this when they decided to make a floss ladder to aid in their escape (Read more at: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,973274,00.html#ixzz1IucwSdZ7)...

Toothpaste
We are all aware of toothpaste's powers towards fighting cavities, gum disease, and bad breath, but did you know that the different colored stripe in toothpaste serves only as means to sell? Apparently, we prefer striped toothpaste more over plain white.
